Abstract

The analysis of variance based on mean values of 10 characters namely, day to flower, number of primary branches per plant, number of secondary branches per plant, days to maturity, plant height (cm), number of siliquae per plant, number of seeds per siliquae,
1000-seed weight (g), oil content (%) and seed yield per plant (g) were studied for testing the significance of differences among the treatments. The mean sum of squares for all the characters. Highly significant differences were recorded among all the treatments for all the 10 characters except number of primary branches per plant, number of secondary branches per plant, days to maturity and oil content.
