Abstract

The main constrains of low productivity of okra in Tirap district is non-adaptable of scientific cultivation practices as well as lack of awareness in farming community. To overcome this; KVK , Tirap demonstrated high yielding and YMV resistant varietyVRO-6, Kashi Pragati with scientific cultivation practices during 2018-19 at 20 farmers field ; having 3 ha area. The variety- Arka Anamika was sown as check. The demo yield was 102.48 q/ ha as compared to 82.69 q/ha of check; which was 23.93 % higher.
