Abstract

A field experiment was performed during 2024-2025 to find out the effect of organic manures and growth stimulants on growth, yield and quality of tomato. The results revealed that maximum plant height at 60 DAT, 90 DAT and at final harvest (92.33cm, 180.91cm and 248.08cm, respectively), number of branches per plant (23.21), leaf area (255.45cm2) was obtained with application of vermicompost, Jeevamrit 250 litre ha-1 and Panchagavya 5%. Among yield parameters, maximum number of fruits per plant, fruit diameter (5.20cm), fruit length (5.71cm), yield per plant (3.13kg) and yield per meter square (11.57kg) were also obtained with application of vermicompost, Jeevamrit 250 litre ha-1 and Panchagavya 5%.
