The present investigation entitled “Response of silica and biochar on yield and quality under Polyhouse grown Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.)” was carried out at Hi-Tech Unit, Department of Horticulture, Rajasthan College of Agriculture, MPUAT, Udaipur, Rajasthan. The results exhibit the significant effect of various treatment combinations on growth and yield parameters of cucumber during the experimentation. Maximum vine length at 30 DAS (1.34 m), 60 DAS (2.33 m), final harvest (3.43 m), number of branches (7.67), leaf area (427.61 cm2), days to first anthesis (24.33), days to first harvest (34.33), number of fruit per vine (31.67,), fruit weight (134.96 g), fruit length (18.43 cm), fruit diameter (3.63), fruit volume (129.76 cc), yield per vine (4.20 kg), yield per square meter (9.32 kg), were found maximum in T11 (Biochar @ 200kg/Acre + Foliar application of Silica @ 2%) followed by treatment T15 (Silica @ 200 kg/Acre + Foliar application of Silica @ 2%).
