Data Retrieval Policy

Purpose
IJAI is committed to ensuring long-term accessibility and preservation of published scholarly content. This Data Retrieval Policy outlines the procedures by which authors, readers, and stakeholders can retrieve or access journal data and articles when needed.

1. Access to Published Content

All articles published by IJAI are stored securely in multiple formats and are accessible through:

  • The journal’s official website.
  • Institutional repositories.
  • Digital preservation services (such as CLOCKSS, LOCKSS, Portico, or PKP Preservation Network, if applicable).

Readers can retrieve published articles anytime, subject to the journal’s access model (open access or subscription).

2. Retrieval of Archived Data

In the event of website downtime, technical failure, or discontinuation of the journal:

  • Articles and metadata can be retrieved from digital preservation partners.
  • Authors and readers may request access through the journal’s administrative office via official email communication.

3. Author's Rights to Access

Authors retain the right to:

  • Request a copy of their published work at any time.
  • Archive and share their articles as per the journal’s self-archiving policy.

4. Permanent Availability

The journal ensures that all accepted articles are permanently available and will not be removed from archives, except in exceptional cases such as article retraction for ethical violations (following COPE guidelines).

5. Request Procedure

To request retrieval of an article or data:

  • Email: Visit contact page.
  • Provide: Article title, author(s) name, publication year, and DOI (if available).

The journal will respond within 5–7 business days with the requested material or relevant access instructions.
