The Digital Preservation Policy of IJAI is instituted to ensure the enduring availability, authenticity, and accessibility of the journal’s scholarly content, reflecting its longstanding commitment to academic excellence and societal impact. IJAI recognizes that preserving digital research outputs is crucial to maintaining the integrity of scholarly communication and safeguarding the intellectual contributions of the academic community for future generations.
Objectives
The Digital Preservation Policy aims to:
- Guarantee the long-term accessibility and usability of scholarly content.
- Preserve the authenticity and integrity of published research.
- Mitigate risks associated with technological obsolescence.
- Comply with international standards and COPE guidelines for ethical publishing.
Scope
This policy applies to all digital content published under IJAI , including:
- Research articles
- Review papers
- Editorials
- Supplementary materials (datasets, images, appendices)
- Metadata (DOI registrations, indexing metadata)
Archiving and Partnering Institutions
- Internal Repository.
- Crossref DOI Preservation Services
- RePoSiTo- Third party preservation network.
Access Continuity
- In the event of journal cessation, all published content will remain permanently accessible through preservation platforms.
- Archival access will honor the open-access licenses originally assigned to the content at the time of publication.
Policy Review and Updates
This policy is reviewed biennially to align with evolving preservation standards, emerging technologies, and the journal's strategic objectives.
